To love and spread love is pure and simple in its truest form. Typography aptly uses typography to express the simplicity of spreading that compassion.

"Design is a way of expressing feelings through forms, simple and direct. In my case, with typography, I express it through the shapes of the letters" says Jean Carlos García Suárez (Champola), our latest ‘Designed with LOVE’ artist.

Jean Carlos uses the brushstrokes of calligraphy and the style of lettering to drive the style behind his designs. After mocking up a few different styles of the LOVE typography that resonated with him, we ended up being pulled towards the simplicity and power of the heart with the lettered "love" inside. The bright and vibrant hues of pink and red really set the love mood.

Jean Carlos Garcia Suarez (Champola) lives in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. He’s an Art Director and lover of typefaces, calligraphy and lettering. He studied Advertising, Graphic Design at the University of Santo Domingo (UASD) and currently is an Art Director in a design studio.
