Olive Juice

Olive Juice = I Love You

As a child, I remember learning to mouth the phrase “Olive Juice” at someone to make them think I was saying “I Love You.” I don’t know the origin of it, but it was one of those things that every kid wanted to try as soon as they heard about it. As young adolescents, we only did it to get a laugh or evoke a blush from a secret crush but when I think back on it, was a really awesome phenomenon similar to what “going viral” is like today.

My hope is that this piece becomes a reminder for people to be present, playful and allow the inner-child in all of us to express love willingly and with joy.
