Universal

“You yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe, deserve your love and affection.” —Buddha

When thinking about the topic of love, I had a vision of a group self-hug in a mandala-like formation. A ring of racially diverse and queer folks in community, self-actualized and loving on themselves. It's partially inspired by RuPaul's famous adage, "If you don't love yourself, how the hell you're gonna love anybody else?" It's far easier to have universal love for others when you love and accept yourself.
